Rights and licensing at BookExpo America (BEA) receives special attention, making BEA the largest North American book fair where literary rights are bought or sold.
The United States is the biggest book market in the world—with a volume of $35 billion US dollars, exceeding the total market volume of the next four countries put together. It is this volume of business that is represented by more than 2,000 publishers, of which 800 are unique to BEA, making it such an exclusive opportunity.
